Cardio day! That means…get your workout clothes on! It’s time to sweat and burn some major calories. Lose weight, shed fat, tone up, and more with jump roping! Jump your way to faster metabolism and better health. The good thing about jump roping is you can do it anywhere and with or without a rope! Just doing the motion for a period of time can do wonders for your body, your health, and you! Grab your rope or pretend like you have one! Jump! Start with little jumps. Get your feet off the ground. Land on the balls of your feet. Keep you body long and tall. You can get fancy and jump higher, side to side, criss cross, scissor, etc. Just move! Jump! Increase your cardio health with the jump rope!
Now try it! Lets gets started…rope or no rope! Warm up 2-3 minutes with small jumps. Pick up speed and try completing 5-10 minutes of this level. Try the other moves for 2-3 minutes. Increase speed and jump a little higher for 5-10 minutes. Challenge yourself by completing 2 sets of this! Sweat the fat off and get a great cardio burn!

Get your cardio on!! Had a bad day?! Need to hit something? Try moving around and boxing at the same time!! Get your heart rate up and break a sweat! Release all your frustrations and have a great cardio workout! Scissor boxing works your whole body. You can do this workout in the comfort of your own living room. So have fun with this. Be yourself and kick some butt! Begin with scissor legs. Right leg is out in front and left leg is behind you. Switch and pick of speed. Scissor those legs and burn some calories! Now, add some punches, upper cuts, or hooks as you scissor the legs. Crank the music up and melt away the fat! Work your legs, core, arms, chest, and shoulders with scissor boxing!
Now try it! Get into position. Scissor those legs. Throw some punches increasing intensity. Scissor and box fast and hard for 3 minutes. Slow the pace down for 2 minutes. Repeat this 4-5 times. Challenge yourself by lunging your legs more and/or by adding a few light dumbbells. Pretend like you are stepping into the ring for a fat blasting workout!

Cross country skiing is so intense! It’s so inspiring to watch these amazing athletes push their bodies to the limit! Their conditioning must be extreme to battle through turns, uphills, downhills, cold weather, sore muscles, pounding heart, etc. These long distance skiers use their whole body. Athletes of this sport really workout! They are lean but they are fighting machines! Cross country skiers use their arms, legs, and core! That’s the whole body! You too can have great cardio health! Want to get fit? Hop on that cardio machine at the gym! Anything like the elliptical where you can pick programs like hills, intervals, and/or cardio. That is what you want. Get started. Select one of those programs and move! Work hard. Give it your all. Improve your endurance and stamina! It will be tough but your body will love you for it! Work your cardio fitness like cross country skiers do!
Now try it! Choose your cardio machine and jump in! Select hill, intervals, and/or cardio workout. Go for at least 20 minutes. If you are comfortable, swing your arms. Don’t give up. Hill and intervals really work the body! Push through your pain but don’t over do it. It will get better the more and more you try. Never give up. Athletes don’t give up. Challenge yourself by adding more time and intensity. Burn the fat! Get results! Sweat it out and give your body a great cardio workout!
